Business Process Reference Model

The business process names used in catalogue entries are taken from the reference model. A description to the reference model and access to the specifications may be found here

Sample Interactive Catalogue Interface

A prototype interactive catalogue application is under development. The prototype illustrates various aspects of a typical catalogue portal implementation, including filtering, keyword searches, tree navigation of key catalogue attributes, and the display of complete catalogue entries.

The prototype catalogue contains catalogue entries for templates with standard titles corresponding to the standard taxonomy of information item types (AKA work product types, document natures).

Current Review and Update Cycle

This specification is a baseline intended for early implementations. Feedback from reviews and actual use are invited. The Data Store Solutions SIG will evaluate and refine requirements and feedback for these standards. Please send feedback to Doniger@POSC.org or call Alan Doniger in Houston at +1 713 267 5124.

All feedback received by November 15, 2003 will be considered in formulating the next formal release, scheduled by the end of December 2003. Additional review, feedback, and updated release cycles are planned in six month intervals.
